Sanctuary Health SMS Consent and Communication Policy

By providing your phone number, and/or filling out any web form, intake packet, facility onboarding, or other medium provided by Sanctuary Health, you agree to receive SMS (text) messages related to your healthcare services.

1. Types of Messages You May Receive

By providing your mobile number and opting into SMS, you agree to receive text messages including (but not limited to):

  • Appointment reminders

  • Scheduling updates and confirmations

  • Care coordination messages

  • Order alerts, lab updates, and clinical notifications

  • Medication reminders or clarifications

  • Provider communication and follow‑up messages

  • Account and service notifications

  • Urgent or time‑sensitive care alerts

  • General support messages from Sanctuary Health staff

We do not send marketing messages unless you separately opt in.

Messaging frequency may vary depending on your care needs, facility communication, and interactions with our team.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your wireless plan.

  • This will immediately end all non‑emergency SMS communications.

7. Eligibility & User Responsibilities

By opting into SMS, you confirm that:

  • You are the owner or authorized user of the mobile number provided

  • You understand message content may be related to your medical care

  • You understand SMS may not be fully secure and should not be used for emergencies

For medical emergencies, always call 911.

8. Device & Carrier Responsibility

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Delivery depends on your mobile carrier and network availability.

9. SMS (Text) Privacy Policy & Data Handling

Sanctuary Health does NOT share, sell, rent, or disclose your mobile phone number, SMS consent, or personal information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

We do not transfer, distribute, or provide your personal information to any external organizations for the purpose of sending SMS messages or advertising.

Your information may be accessed only by authorized personnel within Sanctuary Health and used solely for operational purposes related to delivering healthcare services.
